Umbrellas OUT!

Can you believe it?! It rained today, it rained! Hahaha, macam org sakai bunyinya aku ah.. You may think, so what? It's just rain.. Well, the thing is, it SELDOM rain here in brissy land. Barutah hujan tu since the last few weeks or so.. hence the excitement, teheee.. We are experiencing drought here so there are water restrictions everywhere. At the moment, we are at the 6th level of water restrictions, meaning that each household is allowed only a maximum amount of 800 L per day. Macam2 rules nya kana enforce, such as watering the garden for residential homes. You can only use a hand held watering can or a bucket filled directly from the tap to water your garden, atu pun only at certain times of the day (from 4pm-7pm) and different days for different house/unit numbers (such as even house numbers only on Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays while odd numbered houses/unit on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Cali jua kalau dipikirkan, hehe.. Baik jua kami nada garden, so nda ingau, mati kah, idupkah bunga bungaan atu, hahaha..

If you want to wash your car, you are only allowed to wash your car mirrors, glass, number plates and potentially damaging marks and not the rest of the vehicle. Except at a commercial car wash lah tu. Patut tah kadang2 ada ku tenampak kerita yang berijap tabal habuk and kamah nya.. mayb the owner doesn't even bother kali, hehehe.. Another ridiculous thing yang kami kecalian jua, is the fact that we are encouraged to shower for 4 minutes only here. That has actually been talked about ever since the level 5 water restriction. Ani udah level 6 ani, nda plang ku tedangar if kana reduce minit nya atu lagi. Ntah kalau 2 minit ganya mandi, duiii maaa, mandi itik tah ku tu.. Ala2 cerita p rambli, cuci gigi, lap taie mata, basahkan ketiak, abis! hahaha.. nada bersih tu! I couldn't even follow the 4-minute rule, apatah lagi 2 minutes saja! lols. Since it's just me and yunyun in the house, so water usage is not really a problem for us.

Wah, 2 paragraphs ku rambling on and on about water restriction tah pulang. Actually there are other rules as well but they are not quite as interesting as the ones that I have mentioned. I was checking the weather report just now. The weather people are advising us to: "Get Ready for the Storm Season" So peeps, I guess, there will be rain in the next couple of days or weeks. I dont know how accurate it is, but it's good to be warned in advance. Don't forget to pack your umbrella, raincoats, ponchos along! :p How convenient it is..kelurusan tia masa ani approaching winter, tambah lagi hujan, makin sajuk tia ni, hehe.. so dont forget your jackets as well.. Okay, that's all from the amateur weather woman here, in brissy land.. :p

Talking about my day now, I woke up at 6:50am today. (Progress! :p) On the way out of our building, we saw or more like heard Syimsyim's voice near the entrance, alerting us of her and Nabnab's presence. Kelurusan tejumpa kami, so the 4 of us walked to uni together. The 8am lecture was actually a briefing of the upcoming exams. Makes you go jittery and aware how fast the exams are approaching. It's time to join the midnight oil band wagon! Though I am the type who prefers to study during the day. By night time, kurang tia concentration ku nah, haha.. After the briefing, we had a 9am lecture by L Coklat again. He really knows his stuff man.. impressed ku. After lectures, I had an EBM tutorial (evidence based medicine) at one of the P.B.L room. There wasn't a lot of attendance today, I can count that there were probably 20 of us in the room. We finished at 11:15am, so Cass and I headed to the physio refectory for snacky snacky time. We met Val, Lisa and Pei there. Cass and I sat wit Sa'dy and Hazzie. I had wedges for lunch. That's an upgrade from the normal hot chips that I usually eat, haha..

We stayed there till 12pm, then went to our respective P.B.L rooms for the afternoon 2-hour P.B.L session. As usual, we presented our FQs and we finished 20 minutes early. After P.B.L, I went to the library to get some reading done. I met Pei in the library as well. I stayed there until 5pm, then walked home. The weather outside was cold! Maklum lapas hujan..

Arrived home and I felt so tired, so took a nap. I feel so refreshed after the nap. Gerenti ahir tidur ni karang malam. For dinner, kami masak sendiri2, so I had nasi goreng corn beef, nyum nyum, hehehe.. I just made a pot of teh tarik tadi, and now I am going to enjoy it with some butter shortbread fingers.. till then..

Gd night! :)
