Tuesday blues

Today can be considered as the first day of the week, for me. Yesterday was Labour day, so we had a public holiday, hence another 3-day weekend for us, yay! :) Here's a little background info on Labour day. Labour day is an annual holiday celebrated around the world to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. The majority of countries celebrate Labour day on the 1st of May and it is popularly known as May Day and International Workers' Day. In Australia, in particular in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and South Australia it is celebrated on the first Monday in October. In Victoria and Tasmania, it is celebrated in March. While in Queensland and Northern Territory, it is celebrated first Monday in May. Labour Day involves multi day celebrations including parades, shows and other patriotic day events.

Sepatutnya ada student holiday bah as a public holiday, to celebrate the achievements of students, haha.. oh wait a minute, isn't school holidays and between semester breaks ani kirakan student holiday kan? hehehe.. banar pulang, ganya nda cukup puas bah rasanya cuti ani, tup tup tup, abis tia.. Sempena Labour day atu, aku pun ikut celebrate cuti, nda ku brapa blajar on monday, maklum public holiday kan.. hahaha.. misti lah menunjukkan semangat kesukanan, eh salah.. semangat perpaduan! hehehe, adehh, adang tah ku lame ani.. nda jua cali, siuk2 sendiri tah ku tu.. :p

Bah, what I did today.. Woke up at a quarter to 7am today, since I was planning on attending the 8am lecture. While I was in the toilet doing my "business", ada tia c Yunyun ani kedgran diluar jamban.. (Nda plang exact kata2 dialogue kami ani, ingat2 lupaku, maklum makin tuha ani, lol.. nyway, this is the gist of it)

Yunyun: Ada spider basar di bilik mandi! (high pitch sikit) [background info: c yunyun takutkan spider and lipas]

Aku: Owh iakah? (nda bnyak response..dipaham2 lah waktu dijamban atu :p)

Yunyun: Berani ko membuang spider atu? [background info: selalunya kalo ada lipas, aku tukang bunuh/buangkan dgn my trusty penyapu & siut haha.. Ndaku takut lipas, kalo cicak, lain hal :p]

Aku: Hmm, depends jua cemana basarnya..

Yunyun: Cemana ni ah?! (*suara ingau*)

Siap tah ku dgn "business" ku, then got out of the toilet and nampak c yunyun masih diri2 diluar bilik mandi.

Aku: Masih adakah? Dimana kan? (*sambil menyubuk2 dari pintu bilik mandi*)

Yunyun: Tu di dalam ah, betapuk arah tampat conditioner ku (*tunjuk2 arah siring2 bath tub sambil lumpat2 sedikit*)

Aku: (*squinting*) Mana ia? (*larikan syampu2 sebalah conditioner*) Ni nah! Awu, atu basar. Cemana membuang ni?

Yunyun: (a safe distance away) pakai siut kali tapi cana kan membnuh tu.. kalo nda, cuba buang ke window atu..

Aku: (*struggling to buka the window*) Karas jua ah.. contracted kali since hari sajuk.. hehe (*finally mau dibuka*)

Aku: (*bepikir skajap*) Aha! Pakai frying pan kali bisai.. eh salah, frying pan tah pulang, yg pengapit kali.. (pagi2 kali masih ah, brain is still not fully functioning, hehe)

Yunyun: Hehe, pakai tongs!

So I went to the kitchen to retrieve the longest tong I could find.

Aku: (*slowly kapit the conditioner with the spider at the end*) Mudahan jua nda gugur butul ani kebawah karang, haha and mudahan jua nda bejalan ke atas spidernya ani..(* then slowly place the botol near the window edge, and the spider then macam merati turun and skittered away..

Yunyun: (*relieved*) yay! bah sambung mandiku dulu..

Scene fade out..

That's how eventful our morning went. Had breakfast then walked to uni for the early lecture. Lecturenya atu, ok lah, nda ku berapa concentrate at some parts.. kalat mataku masih, hehe.. After the lecture, I had a physio prac, in which we learned how to connect ECG electrodes and interpret the ECG readings. Siuk jua lah the prac atu. Ijap ku udah if it's compulsory for everyone to strip off their baju.. dapan orang ramai seclass atu lagi tu.. baik jua voluntary saja, sapa yang mau. :p After prac, I have a 1 hour break, so I went to the physio refectory with Cass and had chips di sana. We were joined by Val and Hazzie. At 12pm, we had a physio tutorial until 2pm. Then, I went to the library and stayed there until 4 plus. Walked to Coles to buy some snacks and eggs then arrived home at 5 plus.

We were not in the mood to cook tonight, so yunyun and I went to Nandos to take away dinner. I bought my usual order of quarter chicken meal. At nandos, we saw bg sup and Emd with some Bruneians having dinner. At home, had dinner while watching big brother. We did our own thing the rest of the night.
