Hello everyone! :) This is the beginning of the Hari Raya post. For the first day of Raya, we went to see grandma at Tangah's place in Subok. This year, Eid commenced on Friday, 10th September 2010. Now, let the pictures do the talking! :)

BBQ: Happy Birthday Mom & Dad!

Hello readers! :)

How I've missed you. Wow, it feels like it has been ages since I've set foot here. Actually, it has been more than 2 weeks since I've posted anything. I have been super busy these past 2 weeks, and by the time I got home from work, I was too tired to post anything hehe. The thing is, we have recently launched a new project at work so we needed all hands on deck and we had to stay til night to ensure everything ran smoothly. This week onwards, things will be getting much better with the closure of one project and with just one project to focus on mostly now hehe.

Anyway, I have never been away from my blog for more than 2 weeks before this *whoops!* hehe and so there are some stuff that I want to update on. At the end of February, 27/02/2010 to be exact, we had a family BBQ at home to celebrate Dad's 51st Birthday and Mom's 50th Birthday at home. This post is so long overdue! Hehe.

So we had the BBQ at home with Uda, Iring, Amit and Bungsu's families. As usual we bbq-ed some sausages, prawn/fish/crab meat balls, and had other dishes such as mixed veggies, bbq chicken, smoked fish (lauk salai), fruits and so on. Below are some piccies! :)

Holidays, Work and Pies

Hello readers,

Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days, hehe. I have been super busy with work and I am glad that we will be having a 3-day holiday starting tomorrow. I need my rest! Hehe. Though work has been hectic, I have enjoyed it very much. I am soooooo looking forward to the holiday! I plan to eat lots, and sleep lots, haha.

Anyway, we have been quite lucky these past few weeks since we have had a few public holidays dispersed throughout the month. 23rd February was another day of celebration and to be thankful of. We have reached our 26th National Day, and I think it is not too late to wish every Bruneian a "Happy 26th National Day!".

So during the national day holiday, I decided to bake a Chocolate Pie for the first time. I was craving for something sweet and chocolaty. Watching those food tv shows that I love so much does not help at all, haha. Below are some piccies that I took while in the process of baking the pie.

And tada!! I couldn't wait for it to cool down, so I took my first bite. Nyum! :P
