A rather eventful morning

I am super, super bored today! All that I've been doing all day, is eat, then watch tv, eat some more, then sleep, hehehe. Those are the perks you get for not having any classes today. I could have gone to the library, but no no no no, nada mood today. Today I woke up very early, I have set my alarm to 6:45am last night. I managed to wake up at the first sound of the alarm without snoozing (go me! :p) several times. You see, we have been informed earlier that the electrician who will be repairing our wonky washing machine is coming today at 7am. 7am man! Awal banget.. ish ish ish.. Hence the early wake up call. So sluggishly, I brought my lappy ke living room to wait for the electrician. Yunyun and I bangun sudah by that time.. Tunggu punya tunggu, hmm, 7:00am...7:10am...7:20am... hmmm, mana tia? Skali ada tia mengcall Yunyun to tell us that he'll be late due to the early morning traffic, maklum peak hours.. Laaaa, mun tau ahir sikit, dapat jua tidur lagi tadi atu.. Well, it's not his fault plang tu, dipahamiii...

So when it was near 8am, he buzzed our apartment and apologised for his lateness. We left him to work on the machine. Kedengaran ia betukang (haha, I meant the clinkety clank of his hardware tools). Nda plang batah ia mengusai atu, I think less than half an hour lah, skali siap tia. He declared that the washing machine is now fixed! yay! Before ani, we have a problem with draining, nda mau kan. Maybe ada something te stuck arah drainage nya atu kali or something. So Alhamdullilah, beusai udah washing machine atu. Tarus tah Yunyun buat laundry tadi and I had my shower.

The machine is now working extra laju. Dulu, it usually takes 2 hours to do its job, but now nya Yunyun, 45 minutes saja. Bagus lah, hehe.. Ada cerita cali bah tadi ah.. So lapas atu kan, we noticed a blue undie lying near the washing machine wah. We each thought the other kali punya, you know tegugur kah apa, tapi sebenarnya bukan! Hmm, heran kami sapa punya spended tiba-tiba ada lying on the floor atu. Warna biru lagitu, haha! On a closer inspection, kami liat usulnya macam spended laki-laki! Some areas ada detergent powder lagitu, haha.. We did not touch it or anything.. Here's what we thought how the undie tiba-tiba ada di sana... IT MUST HAVE COME FROM THE WASHING MACHINE, STUCK IN THE DRAINAGE ALL THIS WHILE AND FINALLY BLOCKING THE DRAINAGE TUBE masa the last laundry was made. So the electrician may have uncovered that while repairing the machine and ampaikan arah the floor near the machine. We assumed that it must have belonged to the tenant before kami! We've lived in the apartment for a year and a half now, so that thing must have been stuck there in the bottomless pit of the machine all this while.. ish ish ish.. baik jua ali-ali tampat kami cuci pakaian dari the drainage atu which is covered dibawah.. Bila dipikirkan gali jua ah! Maybe pasal atu kali jua washing machine atu batah sampai 2 jam.. Oh well, all are just musings and theories and I just realised that I have rambled on and on pasal washing machine and undies atu sampai 3 paragraphs, hehehe :p So to the previous tenant, whoever you are, we have thrown your undies in the garbage in a blue plastic in case you are still looking :p Nya Yunyun, gambar ia spended ah, haha, so here it is! lols

So enough of that already! hehe.. After that eventful morning, we made breakfast. I had cornbeef sandwich for brekkie. Ndaku jalan ke mana-mana tadi, dirumah tah ganya, bina badan. Like I said before, makan, liat tv sampai tetidurku tadi since nda cukup tidur ku rasanya. Yunyun had coaching tadi so I was home alone. Tadi ptg ada lagi orang dtg to check out the "hole" yang ada arah toilet kami atu. Friendly lah orang atu, ia dtg tu measure out the wood/beam covering the pipes atu, untuk di replacenya nanti nya, which probably take place a few weeks or so nya. Bah mana saja tah, andang biasa dah kami belubang atu, a few more weeks is not really going to make much of a difference, hehe.

Tonight is the opening ceremony of the Olympics Games in Beijing, iatah kami plan kan liat arah tv. Karang malam main arah Channel 7 at 9pm for opening countdown. Oh ya, yesterday, there was a soccer match between Australia and Serbia. The Olyroos (Olympic + Socceroos = Olyroos) [Socceroos is what you call the Australia team atu di sini nda salahku] had a draw with Serbia in the match. Go Oz! To tell you the truth, I am not much a soccer or football fan tapi kadang2 iski jua ku mendangar, hehe.. Dulu masa ku damit2, my dad used to bring me along to football games di stadium di Brunei. Siuk lah jua that time, sampai ikut tah ku jua beteriak-teriak along with hundreds and hundreds of football fans, sampai kadang-kadang behujan, haha.. "Gol! Gol!!" and sometimes, "Oiii!! Membuyuk eh! Nda nampak kah referee nya ni?!" and my favourite, "Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! Brunei... " (something something, nda ku ingat, haha) .Sigh those are good times.. I guess you get into the "groove" or atmosphere along with these people.. Yang ku ingat banar, was the time when Brunei scored 8 goals on a match against which team kah tu, nda ku ingat. That was such a great night man! My favourite part jua kalo ke football match ani is the "American Wave" yang orang selalu buat before the start of the game, haha.. Sometimes siuk jua reminiscing about the past.. Nah, miss tah ku nah kan familyku di Brunei.

Last night ada ku call durang dirumah tapi nda bejawab. Bila ku call my mom's cell, rupanya durang arah orang baca doa selamat arah jiran kami. Masa atu awal masih nya, alum ramai orang datang. So I was telling her pasal kami buat dissection arah mayat apa atu. Nya my mom, one of my jiran yg andangnya working untuk menguruskan jenazah ani, membagitau, nya kalau lapas working on mayat ani, it is advisable to "ketuk" kayu or anything tampat mayat atu kana placed, 3 kali nya. So in our case, the mayat kana simpan atas besi or metal working table kan, jadi kalo lps working on the cadavers atu, ketuk tah meja atu 3 kali. Kirakan atu some kind of petua kah apa nya. Biasa lah kan orang Brunei, macam-macam petua. Atu nya supaya ndada teikut2 ketani kah apa nya, ada lah ia explain last night atu. Baik jua lah ada petua-petua cemani ani. So there, I thought, I'd just share that information with you guys.

Bah, gelap udah living room ani, alum bebuka lampu, haha. Panjang lebar plang ceritaku nah. Alrighty, kan mikirkan apa kan ku masak for dinner lagi.
