Lama rasanya aku nda blogging. Ada jua 4 hari sudah, haha.. Been quite busy these past few days, you see. Bahapa saja ku kah.. Right now it's getting quite warmer here each day, except this one day where it was gloomy for the whole day. Spring is definitely in full action now.. As I walked along the pavement along the side of the streets here, you can see the flower buds and the start of the flowers blooming here and there.. Though alum banyak plang nampak masa ani, but musim bunga sudah tiba! Just as I was walking to uni the other day, I could see the beautiful yellow flowers blooming on the trees near the security post near the uni entrance and some eye-catching yellow petals littering the green grass. Liat saja tah nanti when all the trees are all in full bloom, tentu lawa! hehe..
On Tuesday, Yunyun and I went to uni for the 8am lecture. As we walked, we were talking about Spring and how we noticed the presence of the black magpies flying high in the blue sky. Makin banyak usulnya time ani. Mind you, these creatures are so loud when they are around. Heran jua kami that masa winter time, nda kami banyak tejumpa burung hitam atu. On our first morning ever in Aussie 2 years ago, (winter time), we were staying over at a senior's place in Indooroopilly upon our arrival kan.. it was a chilly morning and the windows of the apartment were opened. The first thing we ever noticed di sini, were the loud chirping sounds of these huge black birds perching outside on the trees near the opened windows. Nda plang mengacau burung nya atu, but they have a really distinct sound that you just won't forget. Jarang ku nampak burung species ani masa di brunei. Iatah asal kami bejalan lapas atu, macam masa ke uni apa, malar tah kami notice bunyi burung atu masa winter. They are now making an appearance masa spring ani usulnya, hehe..
Becakap pasal binatang-binatang ani, I just read in a recent post a couple of days ago by Mea pasal U-L-A-R ani. I have not encountered snakes here before (jauh palis!), iatah lapas ku baca experiences of the seniors pasal encounter durang with snakes di sini ani, makin tah ku hyper aware of my surroundings. Rupanya waktu ani tah these creatures keluar. Yang ku pernah nampak snakes ani, was masa ku di UBD dulu. Pernah jua 2-3 kali ku tenampak snake warna hijau, the small ones only, melintas arah the pathways kalau kan ke bangunan FOS dulu. Tapi baik jua nada mengaga lah.. hahaha.. Disini ani lagi aku suka jalan ampir the bushes arah my usual path to uni kan, iatah misti tah ku bisai2 masa ani. The only tip that I know, is that kalau tejumpa U-L-A-R ani, baik jalan or belusir in a zig-zag pattern since snakes only dapat gliding in a straight pattern. Iatah, kalau takut kana patuk, bah baik tah ikut advise ani, walaupun to others yang meliat, we may look cali haha.. Do u guys know any other tips when handling snakes ani? Do share if you know, hehe..
Eh awu, di Brisbane ani pun banyak creatures of the night. Nya kamu, apa creatures of the night ani? Vampires? Haha, no lah.. What I meant was, kalau masa malam di sini ani, kadang-kadang nampak kami tu kelawar gantung2 arah the cables di atas atu. Nya orang bisai2 kalau ada kelawar ani, pasal kalau tekana saliva nya kah tu arah kepala, bulih jadi botak, haha.. Banar kah tu? Ntah lah.. The most common sightings di sini would be possums atau tikus-like binatang yang basar. Ani selalu ni arah pokok apa, tapi nda plang brapa nampak. Kalau ada orang, barutah tapuk2 ia. Masa my family came to visit di sini, my dad selalu duduk2 di beranda rumah sama Yunyun's dad waktu malam, rehat2 lah, iatah nya, durang selalu nampak ni these possums bejalan arah atas atap rumah orang sebalah ani. Baik jua nda masuk ke rumah! Atu membagi tungkal tu, haha.. Iatah, sometimes, whenever aku tidur ahir kan, it was really quiet kan tu, kadang-kadang ada tu ku kedangaran bunyi dari atas atap kami ani macam bunyi tapak kaki bah. Masa awal2 atu takut plang ku mendgr, mana tau yang semacam atu kah, haha, lain tah pulang nah.. maklum since our apartment ani arah the top floor kan, but since I learn that those possums andang kadang2 suka merayap atas atap, nahh, ani tau tah ku that bunyi-bunyi cematu atu most come from them tah tu, hehehe..
Hmm, since we are still on the subject ani, I have another story to share. Most of my friends tau plang sudah this story, hehe. I think this occurred last year. Dulu we used to rajin main badminton at the courts arah UQ bah since we kinda have a lot of time on our hand since masa atu masih kami Biomed kan. Ani since masuk Med ani, jarang sudah kan spend time main badminton. Anyway, to continue with the story.. So this one time, we were planning to play badminton and squash one weekend ani kan. Kami kan bebaya tarus ke UQ, so since our apartment is the closest, jadi kami menunggu the rest to lalu dapan rumah before heading out sama durang kan. Our main entrance door to the building was opened wah that time, siapa kah yang nda menutup atu. Skali kan, when the rest are nearing the apartment, kami atu kan turun tah ke bawah to jumpa durang. Skali Yunyun and me keluar dari pintu unit kami kan tu. Tekajut kami tarus ani wah! Rupanya ada dua ekong ayam turki basar bekelahi arah tangga diluar unit kami! pandai lagi terabang tu! Misti tah masuk pasal main pintu kami di bawah atu bebuka. (Tangga kami atu dalam building) The thing is, ayam turki ani is also a common sight here in St Lucia. Kalau di Brunei, kucing yang biasa jalan2, di sini, ayam turki plang, hahaha.. baik jua taie nya nda bejurit arah jalan, hahaha.. I guess durang malar menggali tanah atu iatah pakainya membuat bisnes numbur 2 tah tu.. berakal, berakal, hahaha.. Even arah uni ku belajar pun banyak ni jalan2.. Anyway.. kami takut meliat iatah tarus tah kami belusir masuk ke rumah balik. Patut tah kami macam ada kedangaran bunyi sayap dari dalam rumah atu. There was no way untuk kami turun ke bawah except to melintas ayam turki bekelahi atu. Nda kami berani, takut ada plang, haha.. When the others sampai ke building kami, ada tia durang membuzz suruh turun. We explained the situation. Kami panic udah tu that time, macam2 dalam fikiran, since we are trapped inside. Skali they gave some suggestions mcm cuba pakai penyapu kah apa, tapi being girls, kami nda berani jua masih haha.. So ahirnya c Rhmat tah cuba naik ke atas to help us. We were listening by sticking our ears to the door and kedangaran c Rhmat "belawan" bunyinya sama ayam-ayam turki diluar atu, hahaha.. Eventually dibukanya pintu kami and ada tia c Rhmat diluar memigang racket badminton nya as a weapon. Suruhnya kami tarus belari turun ke bawah. Nampak kami one of the ayam turki yg usulnya sudah mati, while the other one nada. Apparently c Rhmat bravely meng"shoosh" away the big ayam pakai racket badmintonnya. Rupanya, the other ayam sudah mati masa belawan with the other ayam, so ia keluarkan the ayam yang manang atu saja ke luar! haha.. Iatah nya kami, ia our hero, haha.. Ada2 saja wah.. Tarus kami tutup jua the main door di bawah atu, takut ada nanti masuk lagi. Wah aggresif jua ayam turki ani bila betamu cematu, ish ish ish.. atu one of the funniest things that happen lah sebatah kami tinggal arah our apartment ani, hahaha..
Nah panjang lebar plang ceritaku nah, haha.. Anyway apa lagi ku buat masa on tuesday atu? After lecture, kami ada histology practical. Lapas atu kami ke library to do our FQs. Balik rumah, sungkai, did some studying, tidur.. On wednesday, nada lectures in the morning. I edited my FQ and prepared for my clinical coaching session. Close to noon, I walked to uni for coaching. This week kami belajar cranial nerve examination. Siuk jua lah. Rasaku, ani lah the easiest examination compared to semua examinations that I have learned this year. Macam mencek tarang kah nda mata, buka mulut and cakap, "Aaaahhhhh" kan mencek normal kah nda, hehehe and macam2 lah lagi. Habis coaching at 2:30pm. Then ke printing shop to print FQku before heading back to PBL building for a tutorial on the cases masa neurology weeks ani. We finished the tutorial sampai 5:15pm. Nda kami sampat kan masak lagi, jadi membali saja arah nandos for sungkai. We singgah arah rumah Syimsyim and Nabnab kan sungkai together. Sambil sungkai liat movie Alex and Emma. Then barutah we headed back home.
On Thursday, went to the 9am lecture. The lecture was quite good though, siuk jua lah. I had 2 hours break after that, jadi ke library tah ku. At 12pm, then went for my PBL which habis at 2pm. Lapas atu ke library lagi in an attempt to study. Sejam tah ku saja di sana, nda ku dapat concentrate somehow. I dunno, maybe it's the hunger or sleepiness that I experience skali meliat notes atu, hahaha. Went home and took a nap. Bangun kan hampir sungkai sudah, haha.. nyaman banar tidurku atu. Had sungkai then buat kraja sendiri2. Sa'dy came over that night, and we watched Make Me a Supermodel and cerita P Ramli, Seniman Bujang Lapuk. Balik2 meliat pun masih jua cali, hahaha.. Feveret partku is the time masa durang kan audition kan jadi pelakun atu sama c Ahmad Nisfu, hahaha.. best! :p
Today, I had a major sleep in. Skali ku bangun nda plang nyaman rasaku, over slept tah plang, hahaha.. There was a clinical symposium this afternoon regarding stroke at uni, so I decided to go to that. Skali ku sampai, nampak banyak orang Brunei turun padang hari ani, hehehe. Siuk jua lah the symposium tadi atu. Kana discuss our case this week which was about stroke. Ada kana jemput five speakers; 1 general practitioner, 1 speech therapist, 1 occupational therapist, 1 physiotherapist and 1 stroke patient. They spoke about some of their experiences and what they would do, if they were presented with the case that we are doing this week. Then ada question and answer session. We finished close to 3pm. Balik rumah lapas atu. Baik jua allowance kami keluar today. We were expecting it to keluar masa 17th sudah as it would usually do, tapi this time ahir sikit, hari ani baru tah ada. Esuk kami plan kan shopping ke DFO after tutorial, kan membali barang2 untuk orang di brunei, can't wait! haha..
Tadi Yunyun and I decided to bali food for sungkai saja, since kami ada daging saja arah fridge kami masa ani, haha.. So 4:40 tadi we walked to Hawken Drive to tapau food for sungkai. I went to buy fish and chips from Salt and Battery while Yunyun bali the rump steak from 1001 nights. While waiting for our orders atu, singgah ke Coles kami dulu tadi kajap. Arrived home at 5:30pm then prepared for sungkai. While sungkai-ing, kami liat the movie Chicago. Lawa rupanya! Baru ku pernah liat, haha.. It was a musical plang tapi siuk lah the storyline nya atu. I'd give it an 8.5/10, hehe..

One more thing aku addicted to masa ani.. listening to lagu Just Dance from Lady Gaga, Give it to me from Madonna and Disturbia from Rihanna.. Balik2, haha.. I guess I'm just in a "dancy" mood right now, though if you were to ask me to dance, malam hari, haha, nada ku brapa pandai, hehe :p I'll just stick to dancing in the shower for the moment, haha :p
