Day 3: 4th January 2010
On Day 3, we spent the morning at 'Pasar Seni' or 'Central Market'. The central market opens at around 10am and closes at 9:30pm. The market is also one of the famous tourist destination in KL. Taxi fare from Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman to the market is around RM15. The shops cater to antique buyers, Batik, souvenirs, Indian and Chinese clothing and accessories, arts and crafts and so on. We had lunch at the food court at the Central Market. Below are some piccies from Central Market.
After lunch, we headed to KL Tower. The entrance fee per adult is RM38, which is inclusive of pony ride, KL F1 simulator ride and entrance to the KL Tower Animal Zone on the ground floor. First we rode on the elevator towards the observation deck of the tower and spent some time taking photos and observing the views surrounding Kuala Lumpur. After that, we went towards the KL Tower Animal Zone to see a few reptiles, monkeys, turtles and so on. We then headed to the pony ride area and decided to get on a chestnut horse to take piccies which was so much fun, hehehe. That was actually my first time getting up on a horsie hehe . Below are some piccies from KL Tower.
After visiting the tower, we decided to head to KLCC. On the way to KLCC, our taxi driver asked us if we wanted to go to a local chocolate-making shop/boutique near KLCC. We agreed to go, and he brought us to Cocoa Boutique. Unfortunately, no picture taking is allowed inside, so we only managed to take pics outside.
We then headed to KLCC.
Late in the afternoon we went to the Bazar in Masjid India. The Bazar stalls sell all kinds of stuff such as bags, brooches, scarfs, t-shirts, food, beverages and sandals.
Weww! That's quite a lot of photos, hehehe.
Day 4 will be in the next post!
