The last Sahur

The verdict's in.. Anak bulan Syawal tidak kelihatan. The Syawal moon sighting was held yesterday and it was announced nationwide last night. Unlike our Asian counterparts in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, who will be having their Raya Sunday, we will celebrating the Aidilfitri celebration on Monday. Same goes to Brisbane who are having their Raya on Sunday. Thus, here we are, at the last Sahur of this Hijrah's month of Ramadhan. Time surely flies fast. In the last few days, my family and I have been busy preparing for the upcoming raya celebration. Last night we were busy cleaning and decorating the house, which are partly done now, hehe. We also had a late night session of mengusai cucul and clearing the front yard and moving pots & vases around haha. The night before, we were busy with taking out the raya cuik mangkuk from storage as well as frying some keropok udang to be served during raya time. While doing these, there are the usual bunga api and badil sounds outside which I think I will surely miss after Raya is over. There are still some more stuff to do today, it being the last day of Ramadhan.
