P2F concert live at JP

Yesterday, my sister, her friend Hida and myself decided to watch the P2F final concert live at Jerudong Park Ampitheater. At 5:45pm, we went to pick up Hida, before heading to Jerudong Park. We had an early dinner at the JP food court and stayed there for almost an hour before heading to the ampitheater. By the time we reached the grounds, the place was swarming with concert goers. Thank goodness it only started raining rather heavily when we reached the theater. It was a rather large venue and much to our relief, the place is shielded by a roof top. The stage was beautifully lit and the band was warming up by the time we are seated. Entrance was free, which also means free seating.

Lots of banners and cardboard cut outs made by fans and finalists families can be spotted in the crowd. By this time, rain was falling heavily and thunder can be heard from the distance. The atmosphere around the theater was rather infectious as we waited for the concert to start. Congratulations to Azim for getting into the finals and good luck for your future endeavours, be it in singing and studies, mate! :) Below are some piccies from the concert.

Lunch at Le Taj

Okay, I should have posted this first when I updated just now, but somehow I have forgotten about it until now, hehe. This took place last Thursday, 20th May 2010. My new colleagues and I had a farewell lunch at Le Taj for Nadzirah, who was on a student attachment at the department for a few months. Lunch was absolutely delicious with the authentic Indian dishes. Below are some piccies from the lunch. The pics are quite blur since I took them using my mobile phone hehe.

One Night at Kimchi Restaurant

Hello readers! :) I know that it has been ages since I last posted anything. My apologies for that hehe. It has been a busy couple of weeks for me, especially with the start of my new job which is now nearing one month old. Work is fun and I am also still in the midst of learning new things as well. My office base is at RIPAS hospital and as expected, I am learning to deal with the traffic there as well which can be quite a challenge especially during lunch time and after work hours, hehe. I'll deal. I am slowly getting into the rhythm of an adjusted daily life.

Some of my Brisbane buddies are also coming to Brunei end of this month, hence we decided to have a get together before those that came earlier leave. We decided to have dinner at Kimchi restaurant in Kiulap last Wednesday. We had a great evening out together, just catching up, and sneakily we also surprised Nabilah who just had her birthday on 24th May with a birthday cake! :) Below are some piccies from dinner.

Happy Mother's Day to our Beloved Mama!

Today is Mother's Day in Brunei. So to celebrate the day, I decided to treat my family to a Mother's Day dinner. Mom decided to have the dinner at Mamih. Early on, I asked mom to choose any kain Batik as her Mother's Day present. My mom is a fan of kain Batik, hehe. During the dinner, my sister and I surprised her with flowers and a Mother's Day cake, a surprise which we managed to pull off successfully, heehee. Happy Mother's Day, Ma!
