The New Nissan Teana is love ♥

I mentioned in one of the posts before this that I am getting a new car. Last Saturday, 1st May, the car is finally ready for pick up. The car that I am buying is the new Nissan Teana 2010, and I decided to get one in Deep Amethyst Grey colour, which I absolutely love! It is grey with purplish tinge on them.

I completely love the design of the exterior as well as the comfortable interior which is all leather with wood paneling. It has a Start/Stop push button which does not require the use of a key to start/stop the engines, electric front seats, 6-CD changer and so on. I am very happy with the purchase! I have been eying the car and fell in love with it and so vowed to get one when I finally get a government job. Now syukur Alhamdulillah, I finally have the job (which I will be reporting to tomorrow morning) and the car! :D Bismillahirahmanirrahim to this new start in my life :D

Dinner with Cousins

Last night I went out for a Korean dinner with my sister and cousins Jilah and Mirza. The place was packed but fortunately we managed to get a table. It was also raining rather heavily so we were soaked when we ran to the car after dinner, hehe. Below are some piccies from the dinner :)

Happy Sixth Form Graduation Mun! :)

Wednesday, 28th April 2010 was my sister Munirah's 6th Form Graduation Day, along with her friends at SMALHB's multipurpose hall. Fortunately I got a ticket from my Uda since my Babu Hjh cannot attend the ceremony. My cousin Jilah is also graduating along with my sister that morning. Congratulations both Mun and Jilah for excelling in your STPUB results! :)

As I have mentioned in a previous post, my sister earned an overall 'Mumtaz' grade (Excellent) for her STPUB, one of the seven Mumtaz students in the exams and she was also awarded a 'Pelajar Mithali' (Akademik & Kegiatan) award from the school. That was one of the surprise awards since it was kept hush hush until the ceremony, hehe. I was so proud of her when she came out to accept the Pelajar Mithali award with our parents from the Minister of Religious Affairs. Congratulations again Mun and I pray for your success always. Whatever path you took for your future, we will always be here to support you and may Allah bless you always.

My Last Day of Work

Tuesday, 27th April was my last day of work at UBD. I only stayed half day since I had my doctor's appointment for my medical check up result in the afternoon. It was a rather bittersweet last day. I was called by the EDPs to join them during their break time in the morning and once I arrived in the room, I received a heartwarming speech and a nice farewell gift from them. It was a rather sad occasion but I managed to hold myself together by lots of smiling haha. It was sweet of them, and for that I would like to express my thank you for the lovely speech, advice and gift. I shall miss them very much.

I also had brunch which can also be considered early lunch since it was almost lunch time anyway hehe with Mariah, Alyn and Ka Yati, Mariah's treat, hehe. We went to Mamih in Gadong for a bit. After brunch, we went back to the office to finish on some stuffs and also to finish my packing. It was a great experience working in UBD, and I would like to thank them for the opportunity given. I shall miss my colleagues very much! They are a fun bunch to work with despite some of the stresses that we encountered together, hehe.

In the afternoon, I went to Ong Sum Ping for my appointment, and Alhamdulillah, I am declared medically fit to work hehe. I went to send my medical check up result and acceptance of appointment to SPA & JPA immediately. Right now, I am waiting for their call to let me know the exact date when I have to report to my new job, which most likely will be early May, insya Allah. With my new job, I am getting a new car, which shall be revealed here soon, heehee. Below are some piccies from my last day of work :)
