At the Book Fair

Hello ladies and gents! :)

It's time for another batch of updates as requested by Nabnab, heehee. As you know, a Book Fair was recently held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. My sister and I went to the fair twice and in addition to the books on sale itself, there were haunted houses and a fairy tale exhibition as well. We went to the fairy tale showcase and had to pay an entrance fee of $2 each. Below are some piccies! :)

Cravings

Two Fridays ago, my cousins and I had dinner at Kroyo restaurant. After dinner, Jilah, Mirza, Mun and myself headed over to the Mall for k-boxing. The songs have been updated and new touch screens have been installed on the machines. That makes the experience much more fun! :)

World Cancer Day Walkathon

Hello dear readers! :)

Wow, it has been a month since my last post. I have been super super busy as of late hence the neglect in posting. I hope everyone is doing well. Current update in my life: same old, same old me, hehe, busy with work and such. Oh and my sister is still in Brunei on extension. While waiting on further news on when they will be resuming studies in Cairo, she has been attending a few lectures at Tahfiz & KUPU every week. Mom and dad just had their birthdays last week. I'll post some pics later on.

On 13 February, I attended a World Cancer Day Walkathon at Jerudong Park. We had to be there by 6:30am and started out with a warm up and aerobic session before starting the walk. Below are some piccies! :)

A Weekend in Miri

Last Saturday, my family and I went to Miri and spent the weekend there. We stayed over for 1 night at Imperial Hotel and had such a relaxing weekend. Below are some piccies! :)

Jazmine's Wedding

Last Friday night, an old primary school friend of mine from Sunshine School, Jazmine Athirah invited me and a couple of our x-classmates to her wedding reception in IGS college in Kiulap. I went together with Mas and Zamriah. The space was transformed beautifully with wedding decorations, flowers and a large golden wedding throne. We stayed until 10pm and congratulated both the bride and groom on their wedding day. Below are some piccies from the reception. :)

Back for the Holidays

Hi folks! :)

I am currently in a holiday mode. My sister is back for her 2-week holiday from Cairo since the 26th of January, and my family and I are very grateful that she is safely in Brunei right now, especially with the news of the trouble and protesting that are currently happening in Egypt. It is certainly a dangerous situation and we pray that the other Brunei students will be safe from all the troubles. We heard from my sister's housemates that there were tanks and men with rifles wondering about outside their current apartment last Sunday. Oh my goodness! That would certainly be a frightening sight! It looks like that my sister has to extend her holidays in Brunei until the situation has calmed down. Of course we are very happy to spend more time with her much longer than planned.
