Two Afternoons of Baking

Ramadhan Days 16 & 17

It's the weekend of public holiday in Brunei due to the Nuzul Al-Quran celebration. Thus in the spirit of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, we decided to spend the afternoons baking biscuits. Kuih Mor on Sunday and Biskut Cornflakes on Monday hehe. Mom and I made the biscuits with the help of dad as well hehe while my sister is busy studying. Kesian ia stressing about the exams. At least her exams will be done before raya so she can fully enjoy the raya celebrations with us. So here are some piccies! :)

A Morning in Bandar

Ramadhan Day 14 (Friday)

This morning, my family and Uda's family went to Bandar to visit my late grandfather's grave (mom's side) which is on the cemetery near the Pusat Kesenian building. We met up at 9 + am outside the cemetery. After visiting, we decided to stop by the Tamu Kianggeh which was quite bustling and busy on a Friday. It has been a while since we last visited the Tamu. There are a range of products being sold, from fishes to veggies and dry foods. I think, this is my first visit inside the Tamu this year, not counting the time when we just took pictures outside during HM's birthday hehe. There is also an expo being held at the Pusat Komersial building, so we decided to check it out as well. It is quite similar to the expo being held at the Mall. I bought 2 new rings and tudong clips hehe. After the expo, we headed to First Emporium in Batu Satu to do some shopping before heading home. I didn't bring my camera along, so here are lots of pics taken using my phone hehe. Low size photos means more picture uploads! Enjoy! :)

Muni's 19th Birthday :)

30/08/2009: Happy Birthday to my dearest and one and only sibling! :D My little sister is now turning 19. You grow so fast! Hehe. And not that 'little' anymore! haha. Thus, for your birthday, I would like to wish you a very happy birthday. May you always be blessed by Allah, always in good health and I hope that you will be successful in your studies. Good luck with your arabic STPU written exam, which just started on Saturday. Work hard and play hard! :D Love you! :D
